This remarkable museum of art and popular traditions is located in the former 17C convent of the Visitation de Ste-Marie-d'en-Haut (the superb chapel of which is one of the gems of Baroque art), perched on a hillside in a beautiful setting. The very rich collections of domestic furniture and traditional tools can be appreciated when special exhibitions are held on various aspects of Dauphinois life.
