At an altitude of 2,487 m, on a fine day and after a long climb, that can be testing for some people, hikers can enjoy a splendid panorama of the Chamonix, Verte, Midi and Bionassay peaks (aiguilles), Mont Blanc, Mont Pourri, La Grande Motte great glacier or Grande Casse glacier, among other sites.
