A good highland hike will lead you to the top of Mont Joly (alt. 2,525 m). This fine summit stands before the Mont-Blanc range, of which it has a wonderful view. Further afield, you can see La Vanoise, Le Beaufortain or the Oisans range.

You can access the 1,833-m high Mont d'Arbois after a small cable car journey. It is a dazzling vantage point on the Aravis, Fiz and Mont-Blanc.
