Méribel : Michelin's recommendations
This charming resort built from 1450 to 1800 m altitude has blended in well with its environment by building chalets with double-sloping roofs and wooden façades. Its skiable area, stretching across the Trois-Vallées, was chosen for the 1992 Olympics. The women's Alpine skiing and ice hockey events were held here.
