The walk up to the Chollière from the Hôtel de la Vanoise requires only a little effort, culminating in a fine view of the Glière and Grande Casse (3855m), one of the highest and most beautiful peaks in the Vanoise region. In summer, the meadows around the Chollière are an abundance of narcissus and gentians.
