This museum, set in the old convent of the Visitation, which is a vast building built between the 17 an 19C, the museum has a shoe collection which runs in chronological order and in categories, from ancient times to the 18C. Sumptuous, funny or enigmatic, the shoes give an insight into the way people have dressed throughout history and in different parts of the world. The Hams collection stands out from the rest, dedicated to shoe buckles.
