The Diosaz, a tributary of the Arve, offers an astonishing sight as it hurtles through deep gorges. A series of waterfalls - the Danses, and Soufflet are the main ones. A plaque in memory of the poet and naturalist, Eschen, marks the spot (a Buet crevasse) where he fell to his death in 1800.
