An excellent mountain hike will take you first to the Fonds des Fours refuge with a view of Grande Sassière, the Mont-Blanc massif, the Sache dome and Bellevarde. At the 3 000m-high pass, a magnificent view over a lake enclosed by the Jave glacier and the Maurienne and Tarentaise areas awaits valiant hikers.
