This museum, created on the initiative of a former Vercors resistance fighter, features a heteroclite collection of objects he collected related to the fighting that took place in the region in 1944. The educational and entertaining visit tells the story of the region before the maquis (from the late 19C) and then depicts the Vercors maquis, describing its evolution, battles and tragic end. It then endeavours to reconstitute the souvenir of this episode, providing an essential additional facet to the memorial.
