Roman theatre : Michelin's recommendations

Discovered in 1922, it is one of the biggest of the Gallo-Roman period. 13 500 spectators could sit down on the 46 tier rows situated over a series of well-kept arched galleries, and which crowned a temple. Notice a copy of a wonderful animal frieze (the original is in the museum) on the base of the stage floor. Currently, it is the setting for the Jazz Festival.
