Reached by cable car from Pierrafort, there is a fine view from this summit, taking in the Valmorel Valley surrounded by the Cheval Noir, the Grand Pic de la Lauzière and, beyond, the Belledonne range. On the other side is the Belleville Valley: the resorts of St-Martin and Les Menuires are clearly visible, as is the Cime de Caron and the Aiguille de Péclet. Further left may be seen the summit of Bellecôte, Mont Pourri, Les Arcs and Mont Blanc… not forgetting the Isère Valley.
