This park which looks on to the town and Arcachon Bay has a profusion of exotic species. The name (“Moorish Park”) evokes mixed local memories on account of the eponymous pre-existing casino (which drew its inspiration from the Alhambra in Granada and from the Mosque of Cordoba), unfortunately razed to the ground by a fire in 1977.
