This museum is in the north gallery of the town hall's garden and houses fine 15C-20C artworks. Note The Man with his Hand on his Heart (historically attributed to Franz Hals), the great Wedding Dance by Brueghel the Elder, a painting by Delacroix and a view of the Forest of Fontainebleau by Bordeaux painter Diaz de la Pena. There is also a nude by Gervex that caused a scandal in 1878, and works by Kokoschka, Soutine, Matisse and local post-Cubist, André Lhote.
