Although the façade and the two towers were added in the 19C, the chevet with column buttresses and the transept of this ancient 12C and 13C priory are original. Inside, the nave vault with intersecting ribs is in Anjou gothic style. There is a set of 52 bells in the North tower. The statue of St James, dressed as a pilgrim, made of polychrome wood is a reminder that the church was once a stopping place for pilgrims on the chemins de saint-Jacques (route of St James).
