The Hôtel Sully (17C) houses a collection of arms, knives, earthenware and porcelain dating from the 17C to the 19C, as well as carved wooden chair backs, sculptures and paintings. Another room is devoted to well-known Châtellerault painter and caricaturist Rodolphe Salis (1851-1897), who was also the founder of the Paris cabaret, Le Chat Noir.
