Despiau-Wlérick Museum Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The museum, situated in the keep, is devoted to modern figurative sculpture. The 700 works in the collection reflect the talent of many famous sculptors, with a preference for works of the 1930s: Bourdelle, Zadkine, Manolo and Pablo Gargallo. It also includes works by the sculptors who have given their names to the museum: Charles Despiau (Liseuse) and Robert Wlérick (1882-1944), who sculpted the equestrian statue of Marshal Foch on place du Trocadéro in Paris.
