Penne-d'Agenais
: Michelin's recommendations
“Penne” means hill and it is immediately apparent that the name is well chosen. Little streets lead up to Notre Dame de Peyragude, a curious church with a silvered cupola in neo-Romanesque Byzantine style. It is hard not to be charmed by this rose-hued town standing vigil over the fertile Agenais landscape. To get a good perspective on things, make for Tournon d'Agenais, in a fine site on the crest of a hill close to the Lot Valley.
