Verdelais is tucked away in a fold in the land in the heart of vine-clad slopes. Notre-Dame de Verdelais protects the afflicted, which is perhaps why a disgraced Toulouse-Lautrec and tormented Mauriac used to stay here. This being said, visitors will enjoy this small village built of golden stone.
