The vast chancel of the Cathédrale Sainte-Marie has preserved two sets of art work of the finest calibre: the stained-glass windows by Gascon master Arnaud de Moles (1460-1520), and the enormous stalls by huchiers (113 oak stalls in total, 69 of which are high stalls topped by a Flamboyant canopy featuring 1,500 characters) which took 50 yrs to make. The great organ by Jean de Joyeuse can be heard live in June, at the Auch Festival.
