The early church was a cathedral until 760. Inside, under the gallery to the left, the baptismal fonts are shaped from a beautiful sarcophagus(4th C) showing a lion hunt. Opposite the pulpit, a 16th C painted wooden Christ. In front of the choir stall, to the left, a bronze Christ by Injalbert. The Romanesque crypt contains a beautiful head of Christ.
