Millau Viaduct Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

This spectacular multi-cable-stayed viaduct was designed by French engineer Michel Virlogeux and English architect Sir Norman Foster. Seven concrete supports and steel pylons endow the structure with a real elegance. Stretching above the Tarn at 2 460m long and 343m high at its highest point, the viaduct holds the world record for its height. In use since 2004, it won an international prize for architecture, the "Outstanding Structure Award", in 2007. The Viaduc Espace Info centre is also worth a visit.

Très beau point de vue à voir de l'aire d'accueil. Nous avons été bien renseignés au bureau de tourisme de l'Aveyron. L'exposition est accessible aux handicapés en fauteuil roulant.
