Montpezat-de-Quercy
: Michelin's recommendations
Montpezat-de-Quercy, once a castrum and subsequently a fortified town, has preserved its quadrangle, street names evoking ancient guilds and a large number of half-timbered houses from its rich medieval past. But this town in White Quercy is mainly known for the collegiate church of St. Martin and its innumerable treasures, including remarkable 16C Flemish tapestries recounting the major historical and legendary episodes from the life of St. Martin.
