St-Mary Cathedral Cloister and Treasure : Michelin's recommendations

The galleries in the cloister of Ste-Marie Cathedral are from various eras: Romanesque, Gothic, 15C and 16C. Note the remarkable capitals decorated with tracery, foliage motifs and biblical scenes, and the famous pillar of the Four Evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Then make your way above the North gallery, where the Treasure is located. It houses 16C Tournai tapestries, embroidered copes dating from 1309, episcopal ornaments and the crozier of St Bertrand, a French prelate who died in 1123.
