St Raymond Museum Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
Roman sculpture is remarkably represented in this museum. It is situated at the former Saint-Raymond school. It was built in 1523 and later reconstructed by Viollet-le-Duc. At present, it has been magnificently restored. Holds numerous objets from the ancient Tolosa and statuary from the Chiragan de Martres-Tolosane Villa. The basement brings to light the discoveries made during the building's restoration (lime kiln) and presents a collection of Early Christian sarcophagi from Saint-Sernin.
