Discovered in 1959, the 8km of galleries with their traces of human habitation and concretions represent a site of major significance. Note the growths in the obelsik chamber and the Michel Roques chamber and the strange mushroom ceiling of the crumbling chamber. Here were found traces of burnt wood, tools, ceramics and human bones. A child’s footprint dating back 40 centuries can be seen. The prehistoric park explains the everyday life of ancient man.
