Pic du Canigou Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Revered by Catalonians, Canigou was long held to be the highest peak in the Pyrenees, and it can be seen for miles around from the peaks of the Corbières, Conflent, Cerdagne, the Perpignan plain and even the beaches of Roussillon. At an altitude of 2 784m, it commands a stunning view of Roussillon, the Mediterranean coast, Catalonia and the eastern Pyrenees, of which it has become the emblem. A cross and a ruined stone hut stand on its summit.
