A basin surrounded by tall buildings which used to be the Newhaven line ferry terminal, transferred in 1994. It now provides moorings for pleasure boats. Two movable bridges provide access to the quai du Carénage: the Ango and the Colbert bridges, built in 1889 to plans by Gustave Eiffel.
