There are 180 steps at the end of a waterway-promenade, cut out from the chalkwhite cliff, in order to reach the cliff's summit. From the seafarer's chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame de-la-Garde, a view across Etretat and its picturesque site. The long pebble beach stretches underneath, closed by the Aval Cliff and the Aiguille.
