Claude-Monet's Home
: Michelin's recommendations
This house contains some reproductions and the collection of Japanese prints (18C and 19C) gathered by Monet. The garden, which changes with the season, includes a «Norman enclosure» which replaces the very flowered one painted by Monet. On the other side of the road, an artificial water pond of Japanese inspiration, uses waters from the Epte: bridges cross the white water lily pond, covered with water lilies, and its big weeping willow. The banks are bordered with bamboos and rhododendrons.

Pros
It is a worthwhile experience in Spring because the gardens are quite beautiful. The house is quite charming. There are pleasant restaurants adjacent to the House and the Museum.
