File little town of the Caux country, scattered with Gallo-Roman remains, Lillebonne was probably capital of the Calètes tribe. Its impressive amphitheatre is one of the largest of its type and the best preserved in all North Gaul. Today, petrochemicals have replaced textiles as the flourishing industry.

The 16C building has a portal with two entrances, separated by a central pillar. The slim spire tops a square tower. Inside, you can see a stained-glass window dedicated to the story of St. John the Baptist and stalls from Valasse abbey.
