It dates back to the 1C, but was remodelled and extended in the 2C. You can get a good overview of the edifice from Place Félix-Faure. The main arena has the usual shape of such buildings in North-Western Gaul. The crowd occupied the terraces of the cavea, divided into an upper and lower maenianum. The entrance was on the western side. Spectators followed a circular gallery and the secondary vomitoriums to reach the terraces.
