In this street with renovated half timbered facades, there runs a little stream enclosed by small passage ways recalling the era when the River Robec ran at the foot of the draper's houses. These houses were sometimes topped with a «flat storehouse» where the skeins of thread and cotton tissue made and dyed on the ground floor, were then dried.
