The «Nice of Le Havre» extends the beach of Le Havre as far as the Cape of the Hève. This small town remembers that it was once called Saint-Denis-Chef-de-Caux and was a port until the terrible tidal wave of 1369.
A Parisian a businessman, Dufayel, decided to set up a spa resort in the Ignauval valley at the start of the 20th century. There are attractive villas surrounded by gardens running at the steep slopes and providing agreeable views over the port of Le Havre and over the Seine estuary.
