Dampierre Castle, built of pink bricks and light-coloured stones wonderfully stands out on the green forest edge. The building's facade displays great harmony and is crowned with a pediment. Its columns and its imposing staircase bestow it with elegance and grandeur. Inside the castle, one may admire the King's apartment where 17C and 18C decorations try to compete with those of Versailles Palace.
