If you walk around the right-hand side of the castle, you come to a large ornamental pond, much appreciated by fishermen. Water is omnipresent in these vast romantic gardens: canals, fountains and waterfalls embellish this green expanse that has been laid out in the forest, in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley.
