Gerberoy : Michelin's recommendations

This tiny medieval stronghold, which dates back one thousand years, is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Its half-timbered 17C and 18C houses are framed by hundreds of climbing roses, and the cob walls contrast attractively with the red-brick features and pastel-painted timbers. Perched on a knoll, it commands a fine view over the Arondel Valley and woods of Caumont.
