Hôtel de ville : Michelin's recommendations

This Town Hall was built in 1927 by Emile Dubuisson and is dominated by a 104m high belfry. At the foot of the building are the two Lille giants, Lydéric and Phinaert. From the top you have a 50m viewing range of the surrounding area. It was here that the prime minister Pierre Mauroy, (1981-1983) resided between 1973 à 2001 before giving his giving up his place to another French political heavyweight, Martine Aubry.
