The elegant, light, 33m nave is almost as high as that of Notre-Dame de Paris (35m). The decoration on the Doorways is exceptional. The Navarre chapel, added to the right-hand side of the chancel, forms a separate part, a sort of shrine illuminated by radiating windows. At the entrance stand four delicate 14C statuettes representing the founders of the collegiate which inspired one of Corot's finest paintings (Reims Fine Arts museum).
