Laid out in the former air terminal of Le Bourget, this museum covers some 125,000m2 . Two exhibitions, Hot Air Balloons and the Grande Galerie, relate the history of aviation from 18C hot air balloons to military aircraft. In the car park are examples of French technology at its best, with a Mirage, a Caravelle and even an Ariane V rocket. The Concorde continues to take pride of place.
