Poissy : Michelin's recommendations
This much appreciated royal residence of Saint Louis, site of the colloque where, in 1561, on the initiative of Michel de l'Hospital, catholics and protestants confronted their doctrines for 17 days in the hope of coming to an agreement. In the 19th C, Poissy was the livestock market that fed Paris. It is difficult to imagine today where the town was profoundly affected, like its neighbour Flins, by the arrival of the automobile industry, which is here represented by Peugeot.
