Built by the architects Zublena, Macary, Regembal and Costantini, the stadium was inaugurated on 28 January 1998. A technological masterpiece, its oval shape and modulable structure make it particularly striking. It is used for special events of many kinds including shows and sports competitions. This is where France won the World Football Cup against Brazil in July 1998.
