A tour of the rooms of the National Ceramics Museum, built in 1824 by Brongniart, takes in every category of porcelain from all over the world. Islamic ceramics are displayed next to Renaissance pieces on the ground floor and the first floor houses porcelain from China and Dresden china, as well as soft-paste porcelain from the 18C-20C. The Industrial Arts set painted by Devely in 1823 is one of the collection's showpieces.
