Celebrate the historical D-Day landings and remember the sacrifices made at Normandy. Visit the first house liberated in France, the ruins of the artificial harbour at Arromanches, and the American cemetery.
Drive through scenic Normandy and visit the Caen Memorial. After lunch (drinks included) you'll visit the Pointe du Hoc, the poignant American cemetery at Saint Laurent, and have time for a walk along the Omaha Beach or explore the new visitor's centre.
A bus drive along the coast will take you to Arromanches and the ruins of the artificial port, built by the allies in less than 15 days. The last stop will be the Canadian Memorial at Juno Beach. Throughout the day, your guide will provide commentary at each site and explain how D-Day and the Battle of Normandy unfolded.
