In the Paris Wing of the Palais de Chaillot, this centre for architecture and heritage brings together three departments: the Institut Français d'Architecture, created in 1981, the Centre des Hautes Etudes de Chaillot and the Museum of French Monuments, which presents life-size reproductions of the main French monuments from the Middle Ages to the 18C. The rooms on the second floor house mural paintings. Finally, the gallery of modern and contemporary architecture puts forward an indepth vision of architecture and urbanism.
