This sumptuous mansion stands by the porte Clisson, a relic of the mansion built in 1375 by the the High Constable Olivier de Clisson. In the 18C it was transformed by Pierre-Alexis Delamair into a palace housing the Museum of the History of France. On a visit you can discover the apartments decorated by Germain Boffrand in a grotto like style, staggering in its fantasy. The dazzling room of the princess and the oval room are a real enchantment.
