Following the permanent closure of the ethnography section, whose collections have been transferred to the Musée du Quai-Branly, and while the museum is being completely renovated (it will be closed until 2012), only three permanent exhibitions remain open to the public: “6 billion humans”, highlighting the increase in the world’s population; “All related, all different”; and the “Night of Time” (the palaeontological history of man explained via human fossils and prehistoric tools).
