The Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris has found itself a neighbour in the Palais de Tokyo, which was thus named at the time of the 1937 World Fair in Paris. Since late 2001, the Palais de Tokyo - Site de Création Contemporaine has been organising a year-round programme of multidisciplinary exhibitions and cultural activities (the visual arts, design, fashion, literature, music, dance, cinema etc) in keeping with the spirit of the place.
