This place, which owes its name to a market, installed in 1784 on the site of the former priory of Sainte-Catherine du Val des Escoliers, it is one of the most charming ones in Paris, so much so that the traffic has been banned there: an embankment planted with mulberry bushes, a homogeneous group of buildings erected in the 18C, some restaurant terraces: on a fine day, the place is idyllic!
