Contrary to what its name indicates, this is the oldest of the present bridges in Paris! It is not that Parisians wish to mislead the tourist... In fact, it was the newest when in 1604, it was completed according to the plans of Androuet Du Cerceau. It is made up of two bridges, not truly aligned separated by the equestrian statue of Henri IV.
