Opened in 1865 by Jules Jalupot, this department store, along with its neighbour Galeries Lafayette, is home to all the great fashion designers and is besieged by crowds during the annual sales. Divided into three buildings connected via walkways, it was the first store to be fitted with lifts. A huge panoramic terrace is located on the roof of the Printemps de la Maison (Home) section.
